Whether you are new to the PTO or new to Sunset Middle, we are glad you are here! Our PTO provides opportunities for parental and community involvement, all for the benefit of our Sunset students and staff. Follow these steps to stay informed and see how you may participate in all of the exciting things happening at Sunset Middle!

1. REGISTER ON THIS SITE

   Registering on this site is NOT the same as joining the PTO.
   
   This site empowers the PTO to accept purchases, complete paperwork, and coordinate our volunteer efforts — all online. Registering on this site means you will be able to register and pay for PTO-sponsored events online, purchase spirit wear from the Saber Shoppe, and you will receive PTO e-mails. If you have children at Sunset Elementary School, Mill Creek Elementary School, Jordan Elementary PTO, Ravenwood High School, or Nolensville High School and you already registered on their PTOs' websites, please use the same login ID and our site will "recognize" you. No more entering the same family information multiple times!
   
   

2. JOIN THE PTO By Donating to "Invest In Your Saber"

   PTO membership is included with any donation to the Invest In Your Saber (IIYS) campaign. PTO members receive exclusive access to our online directory. This directory is also available to PTO members through the Membership Toolkit app. The app is available for FREE through the Apple Store and in Google Play. If you belong to multiple organizations that use Membership Toolkit (like the PTOs for Sunset Elementary School, Mill Creek Elementary School, Jordan Elementary School, Ravenwood High School, or Nolensville High School, you will see all of those organizations presented in the app and you may toggle between them.
   
   The “Invest In Your Saber” campaign at Sunset Middle School is the PTO's primary fundraiser and is kicked off annually in August, though donations are gratefully accepted any time during the year. Donations are used to purchase items that are urgently needed by SMS teachers and administration for which the school does not receive government funding. Donations are tax-deductible and 100% goes directly to the school for the current academic year.

4. VOLUNTEER

   Sunset Middle School is successful because of its families! Volunteering your time is an inexpensive way to meet the needs of our school, our teachers, and our students. Without wonderful volunteers like you, many of these events and activities will not be possible! We have opportunities for everyone, whether you have five minutes or five hours, whether you can come in to the school or need to work from home, whether you can participate once in a while or on an ongoing basis. We love our volunteers and appreciate their skills, creativity, and effort.
